Te Peka o Wairarapa
Te Peka o Wairarapa is a project from the Wairarapa Branch of the Māori Women’s Welfare League. They will be conducting a full and comprehensive Māori Health enquiry into the inner workings of every health provider supported by the District Health Board (DHB), including the DHB itself, the Primary Health Organisation (PHO), all funded non-Government Organisations (NGO’s) and Māori Health providers. It will be a Marae based parliamentary style enquiry over a 12-month period. The main question being asked is “what is the level and quality of service delivery provided to Māori in Wairarapa DHB as determined by Māori?”
