Tūhoe Tuawhenua Trust

The Tūhoe Tuawhenua Trust reaches over 25 blocks of land in the Tuawhenua region. Tuawhenua trust largely focuses their efforts on indigenous forestry, biodiversity, and pest control with an over-arching goal of retaining ownership of the Tuawhenua land to the original hapū and whānau.

Te Whare o Rehua, their newest project aims to deeply connect young people te Mauri o Te Ngahere.
