Is it worth applying? a quick check Print

Here is a quick quiz to see if it is worthwhile for your organisation to go ahead with making an application for a grant.

Does your organisation work to “improve the quality of life of New Zealanders who have special needs, or face disadvantage”? Yes / No
Is your organisation a charitable trust or incorporated society, or on the way to becoming one? Yes / No
Is your organisation engaged in health services, social services, community development, or supporting other groups that do this work? Yes / No
Is your organisation part of a national structure – for example, affiliated to a national network, or a branch of a national organisation? (Whether or not you are legally separate is not what concerns us, it's whether or not you are connected to a national structure. We generally only support at the national level.)
Yes / No
Do you want to apply for a purpose that is on our list of exclusions? Yes / No
Has your organisation already applied to the Trust this calendar year? Yes / No

If your answers are the same as those in bold type, it is probably worth applying.  On this website you can see information about applying for a grant, or download an application cover sheet.
